Lunch with friends

Today I had lunch with friends at The Chowder House in Fairbanks.  I had not eaten there before and I will be adding it to my list.  I like eating at places that are not mainstream or part of a massive chain.  It was delicious.

Little Miss {L} pictured above is always the star of our little dates.

Our conversation always touches on photography or creativity of some sort.  In the end we both feel we are in a rut.  I am hoping it is just the weather and it will pass.  I will pray for that but until then I will go over this list and see if I can't fix this.

  1. Oh, you live in (or near) Fairbanks? Wow! I lived there from 1970 - 1975, when I was a very small kid. It was a great place to grow up. I always expected I would go back, but then when I graduated from HS, I applied to the University there, and I was accepted. That forced me to think about what I was doing, and I realized I'm a California girl now. My mom moved back to Alaska in 1993, and my brother and his wife went in 1994. They live in Juneau, and they LOVE it.

    1. We live in between Fairbanks and Anchorage. We love it here. You have to be the right type of person to live here. Just as I expect you need to be a certain type of person to live many places.
